Tour description

La Leona Waterfall Costa Rica is considered one of the best waterfall tours in the country. Located only 20 minutes from Liberia downtown and about 40 minutes from Guanacaste International Airport (LIR), this adventure takes you through rivers, caves and canyons surrounded by lush forest and dramatic rock formations.

The highlight of the tour is reaching the stunning turquoise blue pool right under La Leona Waterfall, where you can jump in for a refreshing swim and enjoy the magic of this hidden canyon.

La Leona Waterfall is suitable for children aged 4 and up on private tours (6+ for shared tours). It is a moderate level hike and is not recommended for people with knee, ankle or mobility issues, or for those who get tired quickly.
